Privacy Policy

SodaDesk ("we", "us") provides time-tracking and job-proof software for field service contractors. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it. We've written it in plain language on purpose.

What we collect

• Account data — your name, email, company name, and password (stored only as a secure hash, never in plain text).
• Job data you create — clients, jobs, checklists, photos, signatures, time logs, and check-in location when your technicians grant permission.
• Billing data — handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number.
• Basic usage data — standard logs and analytics to keep the service running and improve it.

How we use it

• To provide the service — run your account, store your jobs, and generate reports.
• To communicate with you about your account and support requests.
• To improve SodaDesk and keep it secure.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data. We do not share your customer or job data with other companies for marketing. Each company's data is isolated — one SodaDesk account can never see another company's jobs, photos, or clients.

How we protect it

Data is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed. Job photos, signatures, and reports are stored in private storage and served only to authorized members of your company through an authenticated connection. Access is scoped per company at every layer.

Your choices

You can export your job records, photos, and PDF reports at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and its data. Technician location capture is optional — denying it never blocks a check-in.

Third parties we rely on

We use trusted infrastructure providers for hosting, storage, email delivery, and payments. They process data only to provide their service to us.
